How to Travel from Zhangjiajie to Guilin

The distance between Zhangjiajie and Guilin is as long as 700 kilometers (435 miles) in general. No direct flights are available. One bullet train runs from Zhangjiajie to Guilin every day with a duration of about 7 hours. A bullet train connection in Changsha is the second choice, taking about 6.5 hours and over CNY 400.

 1. From Zhangjiajie to Yangshuo, passengers can first take Zhangjiejie to Guilin bullet trains and then take the Guilin to Yangshuo high speed trains to get to Yangshuo Railway Station. There are over 20 high speed trains running from 3 railway stations in Guilin.

Guiling North Railway Station: roughly from 8:00 – 8:40
Guilin Railway Station: roughly from 9:30 to 20:30
Guilin East Railway Station: roughly from 9:00 to 19:30

Price: for 2nd Class Seat: CNY 26 – 36

2. Or take a direct bus from Guilin North Railway Station or Guilin Railway Station to Yangshuo West Street. It takes 1.5 – 2 hours and costs you CNY 40.

2 buses from 7:15 to 20:30 at Guilin Railway StationStep 1: Take trains to Guilin North Railway Station.
