To transfer, passengers need to take Changsha Metro Line 2 from Changsha South to Changsha Railway Station, taking about 30min and CNY3.

How to Reach Wulingyuan Scenic Area from Zhangjiajie West Railway Station

On the southeast of the railway station lies a bus station. From there, passengers can take coaches to the scenic area directly. There are many coaches frequently operated between these two places. The duration for the journey is about 40 minutes and the ticket fare is CNY 12 per person.

Xi'an - Zhangjiajie Flight

Taking flights is the most convenient way for passengers to cut their time spent on transportation at present. From Xi'an to Zhangjiajie, all flights have a stopover in a third city during the off season, taking at least 10 hours. The ticket price of an economy seat ranges from CNY 400-1,200. However, there may be direct flights during peak tourist season.

Overnight train from Xi'an to Zhangjiajie?

Is there an overnight train from Xi'an to Zhangjiajie? departing Sundays and arrive Monday?

Currently, there is no direct train available between the two cities and you need to transfer. So it is not very convenient to take overnight trains. It is suggested to transfer in Changsha South by high speed trains.

Is it possible to find taxi at Xi'an Railway Station at around 1:30am in midnight?

It is always possible to find taxi at night, but the taxi fare is higher and drivers do not like to go by meter but ask for a certain price.

Is there any chance of getting a sleeper ticket?

I cannot find tickets for any date. I am traveling with little kid, I do need a sleeper ticket.

Not sure about your date, but the tickets are indeed very hard to get on the direct train between Xi'an and Zhangjiajie. Sleeper tickets hardly offered. You may have a try to transfer in Xiangyang. You can check it in details.
