Shanghai Sightseeing Bus

The Shanghai sightseeing bus is a strong recommendation for travelers who desire a one-day or two-day city tour. Passengers who have a few hours layover in the city can also take the sightseeing bus hop-on hop-off Shanghai to enjoy a short visit. There are mainly two types of sightseeing double-deckers: City Sightseeing Bus with four loop lines and two special lines operated by Spring Tour Bus Company, and Shanghai Bus Tours with three lines. Besides, two Shencheng sightseeing bus lines also connects the most popular sites of the city.

There are still hop-on hop-off city sightseeing buses with four lines: tourism line 1, 2, 3, 9 and 10 now passing by famous spots and landmarks like Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road Pedestrain Street, Century Plaza, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Bund, City God Temple & Yu Garden, Jinmao Tower ... One-day ticket for all the lines takes CNY 60. You can buy the ticket through WeChat mini program 都市观光 or buy on the site at the red ticket booth near exit 19 of People's Square metro station (at no. 68 Nanjing West, on the north of people's square).

The public buses are not hop-in hop-off buses. You need to pay each time you get on.

No big difference. They are all double-decked buses running different routes. City Sightseeing bus and Shencheng bus are economic.
