Hangzhou Bus and Metro Search Tool
NOTICE:
1. The search tool has collected all of the bus routes in downtown Hangzhou City. The buses to Xiaoshan District, such as Xiaoshan Railway Station (namely the South Railway Station) and Xiaoshan Bus Terminal, are also included in.
2. The tool could not be used to search for the long-distance buses, such as from Hangzhou to Shanghai, to Suzhou, and so on.
3. Most of the bus stops gained names from its nearby roads or the famous buildings, such as Xi Hu Da Dao (West Lake Avenue) and Cheng Zhan Huo Che Zhan (Cheng Zhan Railway Station). Few of hotels or restaurants are used to name a bus stop. If you would like to search a bus route starting from your hotel, please get an idea of the closest stop around it firstly.
4. Even it is the same road or building, there will be several bus stops set. For example, around the Wulin Square, there are Wu Lin Guang Chang (Wu Lin Square), Wu Lin Guang Chang Bei (Wu Lin Square North), Wu Lin Men (Wu Lin Gate), Wu Lin Men Bei (Wu Lin Gate North), etc.. When you search for a bus, you could input the accurate stop name or just Wu Lin, and then the other related choices will be listed in the result.
5. Aiming to avoid the translation difference between Chinese and English, the supplied search tool gives a priority to Chinese Pinyin, especially when the stops were named by road or street.

ReplyImpression West Lake to east railway station Hangzhou
1) There is any bus or shuttle , running directly to east railway station( after 20.50)?
2) There is any bus running after 20.50 , to the nearest metro station ( line 1)?
3) It’s easy to find a taxi after the finish of the show?

00Reply1. You can walk westward along Beishan Street and Lingyin Road for 700m to take bus no. 28 to Hangzhou East Railway Station.
2. The nearest metro station is Third People's Hospital, about 1.5km away. You can take bus line 7 (Weekdays Line) at nearby Yuefen stop to the Third People's Hospital.
3. It's not easy to hail a taxi at West Lake, especially at peak hours.

00ReplyYou can take a direct bus from Chengzhan Bus Station to Xitang at 07:30, 08:40, 13:45 and 14:45. From Xitang Water Town, you can take a direct bus to Shanghai South Railway Station, then take metro line 1 to Changshu Road, transfer to line 7 to Jing'an Temple, take Exit 1 and walk northward to northwest gate.

00ReplyThank you. I can only find some information about buses leave from Hangzhou East Station Coach Center and Hangzhou Central in Jiubao, not from Chengzhan. Do they go to Xitang ancient water town or somewhere else in Xitang and I need to continue with Didi/ local bus?

00ReplyYes, there is the direct bus departing at 14:00 and 15:00 to Putuo Bus Station. You can buy the ticket at the bus station of the airport. The ticket costs CNY 120.

00ReplyHi thanks for replying and your help! We try not to waste the whole day away. I also read from other sources that there are buses that go to Hangzhou centre in the morning time. From there we can take another bus to Putuo/Zhoushan. Is it? Another question is from Putuo going back to Xiaoshan airport is it also only 1 or 2 timing per day? What time will it be?

00ReplyYes, there are airport shuttle bus to Wulingmen departing at 08:30 10:30 12:30 14:30 16:30 18:30 20:30 22:30 23:30 23:55 00:20 00:40 01:00 01:30. And from Wulingmen, you can walk eastward to Wulin Square to take a direct bus to Zhujiajian Wugongzhi Dock (Mount Putuo) from 06:20 to 17:45. This way is convenient if you want to visit Mount Putuo.
From Putuo/Zhoushan to the airport, yes, only two departures at 07:30 and 08:15.

00ReplyYou mean Longjing Village in West Lake area? Take metro line 1 to Wulin Square, transfer to line 3 to Hunglongdong, get out from exit B and transfer to bus no. 87, get off at Longjing Tea House (龙井茶室).

Hongqiao Airport has direct buses to West Lake, taking CNY199 and 4h. And also, from People's Square MTR station, there are direct buses to Hangzhou Chenzhan Bus Station and Hangzhou Railway Station, where you can take metro line 7 to West Lake, taking CNY 80 and 4h.
By train:
The nearest train station is Shanghai Railway Station which can be easily reached by metro line 1 from People's Square. Catch a bullet train there to Hangzhou East or Hangzhou Railway Station, then take the metro line 1 or line 7 to West Lake. The bullet train takes CNY 88 or 92.5.
Both are pretty convenient for u.
