Zhangjiajie Weather in July

Zhangjiajie weather in July welcomes its hottest period in a year. The average daily temperature reaches 33°C (91°F) in the day time and 24°C (75°F) at night, but it is still comparatively cool comparing with many other areas in China in the same time as most scenic areas are in mountainous areas. Therefore, Zhangjiajie is an ideal place for people to avoid summer heat in China.

With summer vacation comes, Zhangjiajie in July will attract a sea of people, therefore the tickets and hotels will be in extremely great demand. In July, spots with streams and lakes, like West Sea and Baofeng Lake in Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Golden Whip Stream and Pipa Stream, and Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon are all good places of relieving summer heat. The Yellow Dragon Cave with lower temperature inside is also recommended.
 July is the hottest month of Zhangjiajie, you’d better bring some heatstroke medicine. Taking sun cream and wearing sun hat are also important.
