A21 Bus Hong Kong

A21 bus is the most frequently used bus to/from Hong Kong Airport. After leaving the airport, it first makes a detour to Hong Kong Port of Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge and then goes directly to Hung Hom, passing through hot spots like Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Yau Ma Tei, and Mong Kok with the whole journey of 40 kilometers (25 miles). It takes about 80min and HKD34.6 to finish the whole trip.

Those double-decked air-conditioned buses are usually equipped with large racks, free Wi-Fi, and Led displays showing next stop as well as nearby attractions, which makes you enjoy the bus trip as much as possible.

How to Pay to Bus Fare?  -  3 Ways

1. Passengers can pay the fare by cash when you get on the bus, but change is not available.
2. You can also buy a ticket or Octopus card in advance at Customer Service Center at Airport Ground Transportation Centre or Hung Hom MTR Station. Passengers paying by Octopus card can enjoy 50% discount for the return journey within the day.
3. You can buy a pre-sale round-trip ticket at Customer Service Center at airport Ground Transportation Centre, which can be used on bus A21, A20, A22, A23 and A25 running between airport and city. It costs HKD 60 and is valid for 3 months once issued.

Someone answered my previous question stating that I could pay my bus fare by tapping my Visa. Do I need to tap when I get on and when I get off or just when I get on? Thank you.

Yes, and it seems that the round trip ticket costs HKD 60 now. You can buy it at the service counter at Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) from 08:00 - 20:00.
