How to Travel Between Hong Kong and Foshan

The distance between Hong Kong and Foshan is about 180 km (110 mi). The fastest way to travel between is by high speed train, taking about 1.5 hours and CNY 230 for a second class seat ticket. Long-distance buses are also recommended as they have more departure and arrival stops for passengers' choice. The travel time is about 2.5-4h.

 Notes: It takes 5-10 minutes for the customs formality at Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station. It is advised to arrive at the station at least 1 hour earlier than the departure time.

 The customs formality for both sides is handled when arriving at Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station, taking 5-10 minutes.
