Shenzhen - Guangzhou: This section is a part of Beijing - Hong Kong High Speed Railway. The operating speed of this section is 300 km/h (186 mph). Major stations along this section include: Guangmingmen, Humen and Qingsheng.

1. Guilin is a hot tourism destination famous for the beautiful natural scenery including Elephant Trunk Hill, Seven Stars Park, and Reed Flute Cave. Passengers having enough time are recommended to spare some time for sightseeing there.
2. Passengers can also take a cruise to transport between Guilin and Yangshuo. Although it takes as long as 4-5 hours, it is the best way to see the scenery of the Li River and a feast for your eyes. Besides, long-distance buses run frequently to serve passengers traveling between the two cities, too; their duration varies from 1 to 2 hours due to different departure/arrival stations in Guilin.

When making a transfer in Guangzhou

Do we need to go through the security check again at Guangzhou South Station? If yes, do we will need 1 hour break before taking the train to Yangshuo?

If you are making a transfer only, you do not have to exit the station and do security check again. You can show the paper tickets of second trip and use the transfer passage to reach waiting hall for the checkin gate of second trip. In this case, around 30min should be fine. If you are a group with child or senior travelers, maybe a little bit longer.

There is only one morning train from Shenzhen to Yangshuo?

No afternoon options? I see two rides for return but one from Shenzhen? Please confirm, thank you.

Indeed, only one morning ride. I guess the other one just passes without stop. If you need afternoon ride, you can consider to go to Guangzhou first to make a transfer. There are some afternoon options.

Yangshuo to Shenzhen unavailable?

Hi, all the trains I want to book Guilin to Yangshuo and Yangshuo to Shenzhen say 'currently unavailable'. What does this mean? And will they be available soon? I want to travel in March. Thanks

Thank you for your inquiry.
The Railway Company is making adjustment of the rail schedule. Therefore, these trains are under adjustment at this moment. They should back to service again but the detailed date is not clear yet at this moment. You may choose to wait a few more days. Once they are released for sale again, the online status should be updated too. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can I book to Guilin and get off in Yangshuo?

There is only a morning train and with no ticket. So Can I book a ticket to Guilin but get off at Yangshuo?

It is no problem to get off in advance. The problem is that only of them stop in Yangshuo, G2902. If you choose other rides, they won't stop there, you can only reach Guilin first and then back.

Can I get on from Yangshuo if the tickets shows Liuzhou to Shenzhen?

It seems that there is no tickets offered from Yangshuo but I checked that there are still tickets from Liuzhou though they are the same train?

This problem did happens! Like you said, more tickets were offered from Liuzhou so there are still tickets available from this station. It is fine to board from halfway but if you do so, it is important to collect the paper ticket out before the departure time of Liuzhou. Hope this can help you.
