Located in Tiexi District, it is close to the city center. Compared with Shenyang North Station, it operates fewer trains from Harbin West. Bus, taxi, and subway connections are available here, making connections to the city center or other attractions convenient and time-saving.

In addition, there are about 8 pairs of them running between Harbin Railway Station/Harbin East Railway Station and Dalian North Railway Station, Dalian Railway Station. The duration is between 12 and 13 hours. The ticket fare is CNY351 for a soft sleeper, CNY221-230 for a hard sleeper, and CNY119-124 for a hard seat.

The flight from Harbin to Dalian takes no more than 2 hours. However, both of the airports are far from downtown. If counting in the time consumed to or leaving the airport, it takes at least four hours on the way, which is no big difference with a high speed train ride. Besides, there is only one pair of direct flights each day, making the flying time not as flexible as the rail ride.

There are indeed many stations in Harbin city: the main station, East Station, West Station.... The station to use depends on the route and the train you will take. Each ride use different stations. You can check the departure station on our website in details. If it departs from the main station, it will be listed as "Harbin" only on our website, otherwise, there will be West or East followed. ReplyFirst class seat on trains from Dalian North to Harbin West?
There is no first class seats on the trains? I cannot see any available seats for all day and even other days around. Is there no such seats for sale?

00ReplyIt is a little odd that first class seats only released for sale from 1 to 3 days before the departure date. Not sure why they do it this way. You can try to wait until that time. If you are worried about the risk for waiting, you can buy a ticket on second class or VIP seat first. In case there is first class released for sale, you may ask for the change.

I see that all the trains will stop at Dalian North Station which seems very far from the city center. I have a hotel in the city center area. Is it easy to travel from the North Station to city center?

00ReplyYes, all the high speed rides stop at the North Station so there is no other options. But the transportation is not hard at the station. There is metro service to city center area directly. It should be convenient to use.
