Shenyang Railway Station

Shenyang Railway Station is adjacent to Jianshe Avenue to its south and Zhujiang Bridge to its north. The station is 3 miles (5 km) from North Railway Station, 3.7 miles (6 km) from Shenyang Imperial Palace, 17 miles (28 km) from Shenyang Botanical Garden and 15.5 miles (25 km) from Taoxian International Airport.

As the junction of Shenyang-Dalian, Shenyang-Shanhaiguan and Shenyang-Dandong railways, Shenyang-Beijing Rail Line, as well as Harbin-Dalian High Speed Rail Line, the station currently operates both ordinary and bullet trains to major domestic cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Changchun, Dalian, Harbin and Xi'an.

Shenyang Railway Station

There are two terminal buildings and two squares in the station. The east terminal building is a two-storey building with a clock on its top. The west one is a four-storey building. The two terminal buildings are connected with each other inside.
 East Terminal Building:

Passengers arriving by bus will get off at the west or east square of the station. If a ticket is in hand, please enter the terminal building directly and find the waiting hall to wait for the departure. If not, passengers can go to the nearest ticket office on either west or east terminal to buy a ticket and then go to the correct waiting room by reading the ticket carefully.
 
 Arrival by metro line 1:
When getting to the station by metro, passengers should get out from exit B to the east square of the station.

If arriving by taxi, passengers will be dropped off at the west square.
 

Platform

Passengers should go to the right check points to have their tickets checked by read their tickets carefully before checking in. After that, follow the direction boards to the platforms to get aboard. Blue tickets can be handled at the automatic ticket check machines, while pink ones can only be checked manually. After getting onboard, please make sure that the luggage is put in the right place in case that it falls and hurts others.
 Upon arriving, all passengers will be led to the exit floor to get out. There is an underground passage connecting the west and east squares. Passengers should confirm whether they are going to take bus, taxi or metro first and then get to the correct place to get onboard and then leave the station. Please note that only passengers getting off from platform 1 can get out from the station building exit. The rest should leave from the underground passage. People can enter the underground passage directly to pick up arriving passengers.

 Leave by metro:
When getting out, passengers can go to the nearest metro entrance B on the east square through the underground passage.

 Leave by bus:
Bus stops are available on both the west and east squares. After confirming the routes, go to the correct places to find the bus to take.

 Leave by taxi:
Taxi stand can be found on the west square.

 Leave by long-distance bus:
South Coach Station is located at the south side of the east square. The station mainly operates coaches to Fuxin, Panjin, Haicheng, Jinzhou, Changchun and Gaixian.

 Transportation to other places:
 To North Railway Station:
1. Take metro line 1 to the Youth Street and then change to line 2 to the destination.
2. Take bus line 328 to get there.

 To Shenyang Imperial Palace:
1. Take metro line 1 and get off at Huaiyuanmen station, exit B. And then walk 960 yards (880 meters) eastward to the destination.
2. Take loop line at the station north and get off at Xihua Gtae of the palace.

 South Railway Station:
Take metro line 1 to Huaiyumen first and then walk about  340 meters (370 yards) southward to Daximen where passengers can take bus no. 333 to the South Station.

 To Taoxian International Airport:
Walk 720 yards (660 meters) southwest from the east square to Shenyang Station Bus Stop (SK Mansion) to take airport shuttle bus line 2 and get off at the airport station. The bus is reachable at 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, 17:00, 18:00 and every 30 minutes from 09:00 to 17:00.
  Ticket Office:
West terminal building:
There are two ticket offices in the west station building, one on the first floor, the other on the second floor. 20 ticket windows are available for passengers’ convenience on 1F. Window no.20 is a barrier-free one for the disabled. The second floor bears 12 ticket windows.

East terminal building:
19 ticket windows are provided at the north side of the east station building. Among them, the one at the southern end is specially designed for the disabled.

Hot Drinking Water inside Waiting Hall

There is also a ticket office set up in the metro underground passage. Passengers getting off from the metro can directly buy a ticket and go to the waiting room.

 Waiting Hall:
The waiting hall accommodates more than 4,000 seats. Toilets, hot water, LED screens, escalators and barrier-free lifts are located at the two sides of the hall. In the center of the hall is the “Meili Service Desk”, which mainly serves the old, weak, sick and disabled. The desk also deals with complaint, inquiry etc. A nursing room is located at the north side of the waiting hall for the pregnant and passengers with babies and little kids. They are allowed to get onboard earlier than others to avoid crowds.

Left luggage office is located at the south side of the west terminal building.
