Harbin Railway Station is located in the city center, about 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) from East Railway Station, 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) from West Railway Station, 9.5 kilometers (6 miles) from Ice and Snow World, and 38 kilometers (24 miles) from Harbin Airport.

The station operates trains to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Tianjin, Taiyuan, Wuhan, Shijiazhuang, Shenyang, Jinan, Xuzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, and Dalian.

Besides, international train K19/20 of Beijing – Moscow also have a stop here.

Harbin Train Station has a North Terminal Building and a South Terminal Building, which are connected with each other inside.  Passengers can enter the station from either of them.

Getting Onboard

 1F: platforms, entrance, ticket office, information service, police, passenger transport office, security check area
 -1F: entrance, ticket office, taxi stands
 -2F: railway arrival hall, pay-upon-arrival ticket office, police

Passengers will arrive at the north square of the railway station.

 By subway line 1
Take subway line 1 to Bowuguan station first, and then walk 1.2 kilometers (1,312 yards) northwestward to the railway station; or take a taxi to the station after arriving at Bowuguan and it takes about 5 minutes.

 By taxi:
Passengers will be dropped off at the north square if arriving by taxi.

 By long-distance bus:
If arriving by long-distance bus, passengers will get off opposite Harbin Railway Station. This long-distance bus station operates buses to/from the cities including Qiqihar, Jiamusi, Daqing, Jixi, and Hegang.
 

 West Railway Station
Take bus no. 64 or 120 to get there.
Or they can go to the Bowuguan station to take subway line 1 and get off at the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University (Yida Eryuan), and then transfer to subway line 3 to West Railway Station.

 East Railway Station
Take bus no. 34 or 36 to the East Station.
Or they can go to Bowuguan station to take subway line 1 to get there directly.

 Ice and Snow World
Take bus no. 47, 127 to get there directly.

 Harbin Airport
Passengers can take airport shuttle bus line 1 from Harbin Train Station to the airport directly. Duration is about an hour and ticket fare is CNY20 per person. The bus is available between 04:30 and 20:00 every 15 minutes.
 

 Ticket Office:

Hot Drinking Water in the Waiting Hall

One ticket office can be found at the west side on 1F in north terminal building. Eight ticket windows are in service there. Another temporary ticket office with 6 ticket windows is located on -1F. Passengers can purchase, collect, change, or refund ticket at either ticket office.
 

 Waiting Hall:
The waiting hall is located on the second floor. More than 1,000 seats are provided there for passengers to wait for departure. In the west side of 2F, passengers can see three check channels, 18 automatic ticket checking machines, and 3 manual check points. Hot drinking water and toilets can be easily found inside waiting hall. Besides the ordinary waiting area, the station also sets up reserved waiting area, and international train waiting area.

 Information Service
Beneath the main elevator on 1F, one can find the “Zhulianxiang” information desk where passengers can inquire about train information, claim the lost items, and ask for direction. Also, the information desk provides special service for the old, disabled, weak, sick and pregnant.
