Changchun West Railway Station

Changchun West Railway Station is about 8 miles (13 km) from Changchun Railway Station, 30 miles (48 km) from Longjia International Airport and 12 miles (20 km) from Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo.

The West Train Station is one of the main stops of Harbin-Dalian and Beijing-Harbin High Speed Rail Lines. It mainly operates bullet trains to major domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Harbin, Hefei, Jinan and Wuhan.

The West Train Station is made up of a three-storey terminal building and the south square.
Terminal Layout:
 2F: waiting hall, check points, elevated drop-off area of taxi and private cars, office and commerce mezzanine
 1F: ticket office, platforms, entrance hall
 -1F: arrival hall, underground passage

South Square: bus stops, taxi stands (pick-up), pedestrian, parking lot for private cars
  Arrival by bus:

Passengers arriving by bus will get off at the south square. For those with a ticket in hand, enter the station directly and go to the waiting hall on 2F to wait for the departure. For those without, the ticket office is on 1F. Go there first to obtain a ticket, and then go to the waiting hall.

 Arrival by taxi
If arriving by taxi, passengers will be dropped off at the elevated drop-off area on 2F.
From Jilin Provincial Museum: It takes about 50 minutes and costs around CNY70.
From Changchun Railway Station: It takes 30 minutes and costs about CNY35.
From Longjia International Airport: It takes about 80 minutes and costs approximately CNY110.
From Museum of Imperial Palace of Manchu State: It takes 40 minutes and costs around CNY45.

Before checking in, please confirm where to have the tickets checked by reading the tickets carefully. After that, go to the platforms to get onboard. One thing to remember is that blue tickets can be checked at the automatic ticket checking machines, while pink ones can only be handled manually.
 Upon arriving, all passengers will be led to arrival hall on -1F to get out. Passengers should make sure where they plan to go and find the right bus or taxi to leave the station.

 Leave by bus:
Bus stops are located on the south square. Passengers can go there to take buses to their destinations after they confirm the routes.

 Leave by taxi:
Taxi stands are also on the south square. Passengers can follow the direction boards to get there and leave the station. Please note that taxi stands are waiting in the specific area; passengers should not take taxi outside the taxi stands in case being “robbed”.

 Transportation to other places:
 Changchun Railway Station:
Take bus line 55 to Kuanping Bridge and then transfer to subway line 3 to the destination.

 Longjia International Airport:
1. Take bus line 55 to Nanyang Road and then walk 930 yards (850 m) eastward to Qimao City and take Airport Shuttle Bus Line 2 to the airport. The airport bus line 2 departs at 07:30, 08:30, 10:30, 12:30 and 14:30. Ticket fare is CNY 20 and duration is about an hour. 
2. Take a train to Longjia Railway Station, which departs daily at 06:49 and 07:04; duration is about 30 minutes and ticket fare is CNY 20.5 for a first class seat and CNY 14.5 for a second class seat. Upon arrival, walk northward about 380 yards (350 m) to the airport. 

 Museum of Imperial Palace of Manchu State:
Take bus line 314 at the west station to Kangping Street and then change to bus line 264, and get off at Weihuanggong Station.

 Changbai Mountain:
Go to Changchun Railway Station first and then take the train K7388 (14:36-05:48) to Baihe Railway Station; ticket fare for a hard sleeper is CNY 163 and for a hard seat CNY 93. Upon arrival, take a taxi (about CNY 10) to Meirensong Park to take Express Tour Bus Line (CNY 8.5 and schedules at 07:30, 08:30, 09:30 and 11:10) to reach the north slope of Changbai Mountain; or charter a private vehicle to reach the mountain directly, which takes about CNY 60 per car or CNY 15 per person.
  Ticket Office:
Two ticket offices are provided in the station on 1F. They are located respectively at the east and west sides shown as A2, A1. The east ticket office (A2) is equipped with 19 ticket windows and the west one 29 ticket windows.

 Waiting Hall:
Waiting hall is located on 2F. It can accommodate 10,000 people at one time. The waiting areas for VIP, serviceman, the pregnant, and the disabled are also offered. Drinking water and toilets can be found around the waiting hall.

 Chunfeng Yizhan Service Desk:
The service desk in the waiting hall provides passengers with those services including train schedule searching, ticket purchasing, band-aid, gummed tape, needlework as well as medicine. In addition, workers at the entrance of the waiting hall will help the old and disabled. Stretchers and wheelchairs will be provided. Passengers can also make an appointment before arriving. The service desk will help the disabled or old get out of the station.

 Cell Phone Charging Station:
Inside both A1 ticket office and the waiting hall, cell phone charging stations are available for passengers’ convenience. Please note that passengers need to insert coins before charging.
