Flight
You can also travel by plane which only takes about 2.5 hours. But the flight ticket is expensive compared with railway ticket. In addition, the airports are located a little far from the downtown area, and it needs at least 2 hours from/to the airport to/from the downtown. In this case, the total travel time by flight is almost equal to the rail travel time.

Wuchang Station is closer to the hotel, about 9km. You may use metro line 4 for 7 stops. The hotel is about 800m away from Yuejiazui metro station, exit F2. Taxi would be more convenient and cost around CNY30.

You can take metro line 7 from Wuchang Station to Pangxiejia and then change to line 2 there to Hankou Station. This transfer would take around 40min. Also, you need to be at the station at least 30min in advance. Therefore, you need to depart from Wuchang Station more than 1 hour in advance. If you still need to collect the paper ticket from the station, you need to prepare another 1 hour in case there is a long waiting line.
