China Trains Will Follow the New Schedule Since January 5, 2025

The new schedule of China trains will be implemented from January 5, 2025 on, according to which 13,028 passenger trains will operate in total, an increase of 230 trains compared with the current one.
As the new schedule shows, Hong Kong will be connected with Xi’an and Jieyang by direct high speed trains for the first time; passengers traveling between Hong Kong and Wuhan/ Shanwei will also have more bullet train choices. Harbin West Railway Station is about to send its first normal train K976 to Xiamen North Railway Station.
Besides, the travel time of high speed train G898 from Hong Kong to Beijing and G897 from Beijing to Hong Kong will be shortened by 59 minutes and 33 minutes respectively.
Hong Kong - Xi'an High Speed Trains to Be Available from January 5, 2025

According to China's railway schedule for the first quarter of 2025, Xi'an - Shenzhen bullet trains G828/5 and G826/7 will extend their departure/ terminal station to Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station from January 5, 2025 on, serving as the first pair of direct high speed trains shuttling between Hong Kong and Xi'an.
It is predicted that nearly 10 hours are needed to complete this 2,010 kilometers' (1,249 miles) travel with the top speed of 350km/h (217mph). Each day, G826/7 will depart from Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station at 09:07 and G828/5 from Xi'an North Railway Station at 11:05. Main stopovers include: Luoyang Longmen, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha South, Guangzhou South and Shenzhen North.
