Minhang District is affiliated to Shanghai, located in the central part of the city. It connects Xuhui District and Pudong New Area on the east, Fengxian District on the south, Songjiang District and Qingpu District on the west and Changning District and Jiading District on the north. Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is located on the edge of Minhang District. Wusong River flows through the northern part and Huangpu River runs through the whole district.
