To travel between Hong Kong and Zhongshan, Guangdong, taking a ferry is the fastest way, taking only 65-75 minutes, and it's also the convenient way for passengers who want to make a transfer at Hong Kong International Airport. The ticket price varies from CNY 200-410 according to the cabin type.

Hong Kong → Zhongshan Ferry Schedule & Price

Departure Time: 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00
Duration: 75 minutes
Ticket Fare:
Adult: CNY 200 for ordinary cabin; CNY 260 for first-class cabin; CNY 320 for VIP cabin
Child: CNY 115 for ordinary cabin; CNY 145 for first-class cabin; CNY 175 for VIP cabin
Note: Passengers need to arrive at the port 30 minutes ahead of the ferry departure. Stop boarding 5 minutes before the departure.

Sky Pier of HKIA → Zhongshan Port

Departure Time: 09:50, 12:50, 18:30
Duration: 65 minutes
Ticket Fare:
Adult: CNY 280 for ordinary cabin; CNY 340 for first-class cabin
Child: CNY180 for ordinary cabin; CNY 210 for first-class cabin
Note:
1. This route is only available for passengers with the same-day flight ticket of HKIA.
2. The duration between the flight arrival time and the ferry departure should be no less than 90 minutes.
3. Passengers with checked luggage should get the ferry ticket 60 minutes before the departure, those without checked luggage should get 30 minutes before. Ticket check-in stops 15 minutes before the departure.

Zhongshan → Hong Kong Ferry Schedule & Price

Zhongshan Port → Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal

Departure Time: 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00
Duration: 90 minutes
Ticket Fare:
Adult: CNY 200 for ordinary cabin; CNY 260 for first-class cabin; CNY 320 for VIP cabin
Child: CNY 115 for ordinary cabin; CNY 145 for first-class cabin; CNY 175 for VIP cabin
Note:
1. Passengers are advised to arrive at the port 30 minutes before the departure.
2. Stop boarding 5 minutes before the departure.

Zhongshan Port → Sky Pier of HKIA

Departure Time: 08:10, 11:10, 15:00

Duration: 70 minutes

Ticket Fare:
Adult: CNY 350 for economy cabin; CNY 410 for first-class cabin
Child: CNY 150 for economy cabin; CNY 215 for first-class cabin

Note: Things needed to take the ferry route: valid passport and visa & valid flight ticket of HKIA on the same day

Notice of HKIA route:
1. This line is a closed channel, no need to go through Hong Kong Immigration Authority. Therefore, this is not suitable for those who would like to go into Hong Kong downtown and those who want to receive or see off guests.
2. Not all airlines are applied to this route, so consult whether your airline is eligible for the ferry service in advance.

Yes, you can take Zhongshan - HKIA ferry as All Nippon Airline is one of the participating airlines.

enquiry about ferry timing from skypier to zhongshan port

I am taking Singapore airlines on 24.10.24 which arrives at Hong Kong airport at 11.20am.
Do I have enough time to take the 12.50pm ferry from Skypier? It is exactly 90mins allowance. Also, can I buy the ferry tickets in advance? Would my luggage be transferred automatically to Skypier of do I have to claim the baggage first myself, then proceed to Skypier?

The selected ferry requires a minimum of 90 minutes between the flight arrival and ferry departure. So I think you have enough time. Of course you can choose the next ferry to Zhongshan to ensure your trip.
Your luggage will be transferred from the plane to the ferry by the ferry staff, just show your luggage tag when you get your ferry ticket at E2 counter. You don't need to collect luggage by yourself.

Hi Keith,
May I know where is E2 counter located? I will be arriving at Terminal 1 at 11.20pm. Is there enough time for us to get to E2 counter to buy the ferry tickets? Can I buy online now to secure the tickets? I don't want to miss the 12.50pm ferry to Zhong Shan.

It's on the arrival level of T1. I think you have enough time. You can buy online on cksp.com.hk in advance but you still need to go to the E2 counter to collect your physical ticket and show your luggage tag to the staff who deliver your luggage to the ferry.

luggage arrangement - purchase ticket online fr CKSP - Is this correct

I am intended to take a small case i.e. hand carry to the plane and come out with that upon arrival in HK & then go to E2 (which level?)(assume the same level when Cathay Pacific arrives in HK). A few people above are arriving at the same time i.e. 5:35 a.m. & intend to take 9:50 a.m. to Zhongshan. As I have purchased the ferry ticket via CKSP online (Chu Kong Passenger Transport Co.) is it correct? Do I still need to take the print out with Transaction No. to exchange a real ticket from CKS Ferries ? If Cathay Pacific needs me to check in my luggage, I did not buy the ferry ticket directly from them, how to get my check in luggage to CKS Ferries to Zhongzhan? Thank you very much in advance.

I'm not sure on which level the transfer desk E2 is but there are bilingual signboards lead you to it easily. You are right to book the ferry via CKSP and yes, you need to get a physical ticket at E2 counter by showing your ferry ticket order or QR code, and luggage claim tag (if you have check in luggage), the ferry staff will deliver your luggage to the ferry so don't collect your check in luggage after landing off. It's doesn't matter that you didn't book the ferry from the airline as the two have cooperation.
