Hong Kong - Macau Ferry

Ferry is the most popular and convenient way to travel between Hong Kong and Macau. The travel time varies from 60 - 70 minutes, and ticket price is HKD 175-220 for the economy class seat.

Two Hong Kong ferry terminals, HK Macau Ferry Terminal, Hong Kong International Airport Sky Pier, are involved for Hong Kong - Macau ferry routes. Two ferry terminals are in use in Macao, including Macau Outer Ferry Terminal and Taipa Ferry Terminal.

Note: Hong Kong International Airport Sky Pier is only dedicated to transfer passenger at the airport, and it's implacable to go through the Hong Kong Immigration Authority.

1. Valid flight ticket
2. Valid ferry ticket
3. entry / quarantine requirements by destination if any
4. Travel document (at least 6-month validity) and visa required by the destination (if any)

You can purchase the ticket at the terminal but to ensure a smooth trip it's better to book in advance.

Can we take luggage on the ferry to macau?

Yes, generally you can take one with you and the weight can not be over 25 kg, or you need to check in your luggage.
