Hong Kong - Shenzhen Ferry

Sky Pier

There are ferries between Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal in downtown Hong Kong and Skypier in Hong Kong airport and Shekou Port by Shekou subway station in southern Shenzhen and Fuyong Port in Shenzhen Airport. The whole voyage of Hong Kong ferry to Shenzhen takes about 30 minutes to one hour. And the Hong Kong to Shenzhen ferry price varies from CNY 90 to CNY 380 for ordinary cabin.

Ferries to/from Sky pier only serve passengers arriving at or leaving from Hong Kong Airport by flight. To take Sky Pier - Shenzhen Shekou ferry, the HKIA flight ticket on the same day, the valid ferry ticket, passport and visa are all needed.

Fuyong Port → Sky Pier

Tips:

1. Ferries to/from Sky pier only serve passengers arriving or leaving Hong Kong airport by flight. From Shenzhen to Sky Pier, only passengers of designated airlines (Sky Pier Participating Airlines) can buy the ferry tickets.

2. Each adult could bring with one child aged under one free of charge. Children between 1 and 5 (5 yrs old included) are supposed to buy children’s ticket, while children over 6 need to pay the full price.
3. Arriving at the ferry terminal one hour before the departure, and get to the boarding gate 15mins earlier to ensure that you can board the ship.

VISA FOR HK

I will land to HK and directly go to Shenzhen with my China visa. Do I need a HK visa if I take the ferry to go to Shenzhen?

No you don't if you take the ferry to Shenzhen directly at Skypier and do not enter HK.

I arrived at Hong Kong airport on a Indian flight on 28-July-2024. I purchase my Ferry ticket to Shenzhen Shekou Port.I have lost my Ferry ticket, So can I get copy of Ferry Ticket for that day.

Can a US passport holder get a 5-day Shenzhen Visa on Arrival in Shekou port using the ferry from Hong Kong?

Hong Kong to Shenzhen via ferry

I plan 2-3 days in Hong Kong before heading to Shenzhen and would like to go by ferry i hold a Chinese 10 year visa with 3 years remaining. When traveling by ferry, do I clear Chinese immigration in HK ferry station or in
Shenzhen? Is there a problem that my visa is in an expired passport while I will be using recently issued visa.

You will clear China immigration in Shenzhen. You need to take both your expired passport with 10-year China visa and your renewed passport.

Hi,

I am arriving at HONG KONG airport on 19th May by Indigo airline from India and want to use ferry service(SkyPier) to go to Shenzhen.
Will my check in baggage transferred to ferry?

Yes. You don't have to collect your luggage. After you get your ticket at the CKS ticket counter, give the staff your luggage tags then they will transfer your luggage to the ferry.
