1. There are four stations in Suzhou and two railway stations in Huangshan. Please make sure you get to the right one before your trip.
2. To travel from Huangshan North Railway Station to the Yellow Mountain, please find the Transportation Center at the front square of the station, where you can find buses to Tangkou, the entrance of the scenic area. The bus leaves every 30 minutes from 06:30 to 17:00, and the duration is about one hour with ticket fare of CNY 20 per ticket.

00ReplyThe website says 1.5 hours in advance for ticket collection and boarding. Suzhou Railway Station is indeed a large station, but not very hard to figure out. The ticket counters do not speak English however. If you can reach the station no later than 7:30am, it should be fine.

If you book the tickets separately with a transfer in Shanghai, there will be two tickets, one for each part of the trip. In this way, the ticket booking service fee will be charged twice. There are a few direct trains from Suzhou to Huangshan. For these direct rides, only one ticket will be booked and the service charged one time only. Hope for your kind understanding.

00ReplyThe most convenient way should be direct taxi for sure, but the cost could be high. Except that, you may consider to take a taxi from Tongli Water Town to Tongli metro station. Then you can use metro line 4 from there to Suzhou Railway Station, then change to line 2 there and finally reach the North Station. You need to prepare at least 1.5 hours on the way.

00ReplyUp to now, there is still no direct high speed ride between. To make the transfer, Hefei should be the best option, lowest price and many departures a day for your option.
