One train is operated daily from Pingyao Railway Station to Luoyang Railway Station. It takes around 10.5 hours to finish a total distance of around 684 kilometers (425 miles). 00ReplyIt is possible but a little bit rush, you need to reach Xi'an at least around noon time. If time allows, you can consider to stay one night in Xi'an, the night view and other place also worth a visiting.

Will the station allow me to board there? Will there be any problem?

If hold a ticket from Taiyuan on D2505, you can board from Pingyao Ancient Town station at halfway. The seats will be reserved for you as long as you collected the paper tickets out before 8am, the departure time from Taiyuan. Hope this information can help you.
