Guiyang - Kaili Train

Both Guiyang and Kaili are hot tourist destinations in Guizhou Province. In order to provide a quick transfer method between the two cities, over 56 pairs of high speed trains are put into service, taking 31 – 58 minutes for a distance of 150 kilometers (93 miles). A second class seat costs CNY 49 - 71.5 per person.

Aside from a fast high speed rail trip, passengers can also experience the traditional Chinese normal speed train. There are over 12 pairs of them in service. Running distance is 180 kilometers (112 miles) and duration is 2.5 – 3.5 hours. Ticket fare for a hard seat is CNY 25.5 - 28.5 and for a hard sleeper is CNY 82.5.

Alternatively, passengers can travel by long-distance bus as well. Duration is 2.5 hours or so and ticket fare is about CNY 60 per person.
