Guangzhou - Macau Train

Up to now, there is no direct Guangzhou to Macau train or vice versa, no matter high speed or non-bullet train. But the high speed rail line from Guangzhou South Railway Station has been extended to Zhuhai Railway Station, which is just next to Macau across Gongbei Port. After passing the port, there are buses taking you to many destinations in Macau.
 There are about 100 pairs of high speed trains a day running between Guangzhou South Railway Station and Zhuhai Railway Station. The duration is about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours only, and the ticket price is CNY90 per person for first class seat and CNY70 per person for second class seat.

Zhuhai Railway Station is in walking distance to the Gongbei Port, or called Barrier Gate, Border Gate and Portas do Centro in Macau. The opening time of the port is from 06:00 to 01:00 next day. Please kindly notice that for passengers who travel to Zhuhai, it is important to get off at Zhuhai Railway Station instead of Zhuhai North Railway Station. The North station is far from the port.
  By Bus
Thanks to the free hotel shuttle buses and city buses, the transfer between Gongbei Port and some main scenic spots as well as hotels are very convenient. To name a few transport between the port and:
Ruins of St. Paul's & Monte Fort: Bus 1, 3, 16, 17, 25, 3X, MT4, 25B and 101X
Casino Lisboa: Bus No. 3, 5, 25, 3X, 9A, 35B and 25AX; shuttle bus offered by the hotel
Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel: Bus No. 25, MT4, 25B, 51A and 73S and shuttle bus offered by the hotel
Camoes Garden and Grotto: Bus No. 1, 3, 16, 17, 3X, MT4 and 101X
Macau Tower: Bus No. 5, 18, 9A and 18B. You can also take shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa Hotel and then change to bus No. 5, 18, 23, 32, 9A or 18B to get there.

By Light Rail
Macau light rail under construction has a stop at Barrier Gate. When put into service, it will also be a good tool to travel around. The light rail is planned to run between Barrier Gate (Gongbei Port) and Terminal de Pac On and connects the Macau Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane together.

Future Option: Transfer at Hengqin Port by Light Rail or Bus
The extension line of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Inter-city High Speed Rail is under construction as well. Once put into service, the bullet train will be able to reach Hengqin Port, or Lotus Border in Macau. Passengers can also get off there and change to Macau city buses, hotel free shuttle buses to travel around. The Macau light rail will also have a stop at Lotus Border, which can be used too.
 In addition to the rail service, there are direct coaches running between. Duration is about 3.5 hours and ticket price varies from CNY 70-150. The boarding sites include Liwan Lake Lottery Station, Lidu Hotel, Guangzhou Hotel, Dongfang Hotel, Lefeng Plaza, Baoli Huayuan Community, Yuancun Rundu Hotel, Yingbin Hotel, and LN Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, and Macau Tower and Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau.

Ships are also available between them every Saturday and Sunday, taking around 80min. The ferry departures at 09:00 on Saturdays and 14:30 on Sundays from Guangzhou Nansha Ferry Terminal; at 10:45 on Saturdays and 16:15 on Sundays from Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal. The ticket price is from CNY180 to CNY4,480 based on different seat class (Standard to VIP Class). Please note that the information above is just for reference, the schedule and price may change due to adjustment and seasons. There are also free hotel shuttle buses available at Maritime Ferry Terminal for transfer.
