The Chongqing to Beijing distance is about 1,700 kilometers (1,000 miles). You can travel between the two cities by plane, high speed train and normal speed train. The best transportation option is definitely by plane because of the short flight time and affordable tickets. By air, you can arrive in the destination in 2.5 to 3 hours and spend only CNY400 for economy class ticket in low season.
