Wuxi Railway Station
Wuxi Railway Station has both high speed trains and normal speed trains to/from Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chengdu and etc. It is about 2 kilometers (1 mile) from city center, about 25 kilometers (15 miles) from Wuxi East Railway Station, about 15 Kilometers (12 miles) from Wuxi New District Railway Station and about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from Sunan Shuofang International Airport.

2. By city bus: There are three bus stops near Wuxi Train Station which can be reached by any one of the buses below:
a. Wuxi Central Bus Terminal: It is in the North Square and buses stop here include 1, 5, 11, 23, 30, 77, 89, 93, 115, 126, 133, 158, 203, 211, 612, 713, Leyou No.1, Leyou No.2, Kuai No.2, Wuxi Central Bus Terminal – Mount Lingshan and Airport Shuttle Bus Wuxi Route.
b. The Railway Station: Located in South Square, it can be reached by bus 1, 2, 5, 10 Inner Circle, 10 Outer Circle, 11, 12, 19, 20, 25, 30, 61, 35, 45, 60, 65, 67, 68, 77, 80, 82, 82 Branch, 83, 88 and 90.
c. Wuxi Coach Terminal: It is located next to North Square. Buses 20, 33, 35, 60, 207, 601, 607, 609, 611, 705, 709, 711, 716 and 735 go here.
Passengers can take metro line 1 to Sanyang Square, then transfer to metro line 2 to get there.
Or passengers can take city bus 713 to get to the east railway station directly.
Passengers can also get to the east railway station by taxi. The fare is about CNY 60 and the duration is about half an hour.
Passengers can take airport shuttle bus to get there directly. The airport bus departs from South Square at 6:00, 7:30, 11:30, 13:10, 14:15, 15:40, 16:10 and 16:50. The ticket fare is CNY 5 and the duration is about 40 minutes.
Passengers can also get there by taxi. The fare is about CNY 60 and the duration is about 30 minutes.

00ReplyI recommend the direct airport shuttle bus. It arrives at the north square of Suzhou Railway Station. The frequency is 0.5-1 hour from 09:10 to 20:30. Travel time is 45 minutes or so and ticket fare is CNY50. If it's early morning or late, you may have to seek for other travel means like taxi or hailing car.

1. Take the metro line 1 from Wuxi station, and then get off at Renmin Hospital stop and exit from 2; find the bus station and take bus G1 or 103 and get off at Jichang Road, finally walk to the Baseball Training Center. The whole journey takes about 1 hour.
2. Take bus 30 at Wuxi station and get off at Jichang Road. It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. But the bus station is about 1500m from train station, please follow the navigation.
3. Taxi takes about CNY40 per car.

00ReplyYou need to know your carriage number first which is usually write on the paper ticket. At platform, it can be a little different at different station. I am not sure about this Wuxi Station but I found some stations mark the carriage number on the ground. When you are checkin at the gate, the information screen will says the colour of the mark you need to follow of the train. So after you reach the platform, you only need to find marks in that colour and the carriage number write on the mark. If you find it hard for you, you can show your paper ticket to a station staff on the platform, they will print the direction for you.
