Wuxi Metro Line 2

Wuxi metro line 2 runs through the city in the east-west direction from Anzhen to Meiyuan Kaiyuan Temple. Put into service in late 2014, it is 17mi (27km) long and traverses 22 stations, with Anzhen still unopened. The subway line passes the Heliekou Commercial Area, Central Business District, Guangyi New Town and Xidong New Town, and has been an important rail transit in the city.

The interchange with metro line 1 at Sanyang Square now is accessible. In the future, passengers riding line 2 can easily transfer to other lines: Jinghai to line 3, Yingyuehu Park and Heliekou to line 4 and Dongting to line 5.
