Wuxi Sunan Shuofang International Airport

Wuxi Sunan Shuofang International Airport was built to serve the southern Jiangsu Province, namely Sunan area, including Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou.

It is 10 miles (16 kilometers) to the east of Wuxi, and 12 miles (20 kilometers) from downtown Suzhou. Till now Wuxi Airport has received a large number of passengers since being opened in 2004 and now operates many air routes:

 There are two connected terminal buildings: T1 is used as International Terminal, and T2 as Domestic Terminal. T1 is the old terminal building which was opened in 2004. The airport has witnessed the extension since 2011, and welcomed T2 in 2015, which has 1F as Arrival Hall and 2F as Departure Hall. By now, the whole terminal buildings cover an area of 27 acres (11 hectares) and are equipped with 16 boarding bridges.

Note: The check-in counters are closed 30 minutes before the flight schedule. Passengers are suggested to arrive at WUX at least 1.5 hours in advance.

1. Platform no. 1-4: Tickets can be bought onboard near the shuttle bus platforms;
2. Platform no. 5-9: Purchase tickets at the ticket counter near Gate no. 6, Arrival Hall Greeting Area.
Note: intercity shuttle buses have two types: regular coach and deluxe MPV.

Train
The Xinqu Railway Station is only around 2 miles (3 kilometers) away from the airport, so it is easy to achieve the transfer from airplane to train. Upon landing, just take a taxi to reach directly. At present, bullet trains from/to Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Ganzhou and Chengdu are
available there.

 Metro
Passengers can take metro line 3 to/from Shuofang Airport directly. The operating hours are from 06:00 to 22:30 from the airport. This metro line can take people to Wuxi Railway Station, Wuxi New District and Sumiao easily.
