Qinghe Railway Station

Qinghe Railway Station is the largest train station and one of the terminal stations on the Beijing – Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway and Beijing – Badaling High Speed Railway. About 21 kilometers (13 miles) from the city center, it has been a new transportation hub in northern Beijing and is connnected to subway line 13 and Changping line. It is about 11 kilometers (7 miles) to Beijing North Railway Station, 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Daxing Airport and 33 kilometers (20 miles) from Capital Airport.

Visitors going to the Badaling Great Wall are advised to take a high speed train at this station. There are frequent bullet trains from 7:30 - 19:52 to Badaling Great Wall Railway Station, which is very closed to the Great Wall entrance.

Station Plan

The original Qinghe Train Station was built in 1905. Regarded as a precious cultural relic, it has been moved to the southeast of the previous site. The present Qinghe Train Station is built on the previous site with an area of 146,000 square meters (36 acres). It has 2 underground floors and 3 floors on the ground. There are 8 ticket gates in the station and more than 3,300 seats in the waiting hall.

How to Get to Qinghe Railway Station

By Subway: Take subway line 13 or Changping line and get off at Qinghe subway station. 

By City Bus: Take bus 521, 623 to West Square of Qinghe Railway Station stop. Or take bus 495, 544, 320, 603, Zhuan 139, Zhuan 29 or Night Line 4 and get off at Qinghe Railway Station stop.

How to Travel from the Forbidden City / Tiananmen Square to Qinghe Railway Station

Take subway line 2 inner ring from Qianmen to Xizhimen, then transfer to subway line 13 and get off at Qinghe. It takes about 60 minutes and CNY 5.
 

How to Travel from Beijing South Railway Station to Qinghe Railway Station

First, travel from South Railway Station to Xizhimen by subway line 4. Then, take subway line 13 to Qinghe Railway Station. The whole journey passes 14 stops with a travel time of 60 minutes and ticket cost of CNY 5.
 

How to Travel from Beijing West Railway Station to Qinghe Railway Station

1. By Subway: Go to National Library by subway line 9 from West Railway Station, then transfer to subway line 4 and get to Xizhimen. Finally, take subway line 13 from Xizhimen to Qinghe. Passengers will spend about 60 minutes and CNY 5 on it.
2. By Taxi: It takes around 40 minutes and CNY 85 to go there by taxi.
 

How to Travel from Beijing Capital International Airport to Qinghe Railway Station

Get on Airport Express at T3 or T2 of airport and get off at Dongzhimen. Then passengers can take subway line 13 from Dongzhimen to Qinghe directly. The duration is about 1 hour and 30 minutes and the cost is CNY 30.
 

How to Travel from Beijing Daxing International Airport to Qinghe Railway Station

Take Daxing Airport Express Line to Caoqiao, then transfer to line 19 to Mudanyuan. Take line 10 at Mudanyuan to Zhichun Rd., and transfer to line 13 to Qinghe Railway Station. It takes about 1.5 hours and CNY41.

There are lockers not far away from the exit of the train station, but you need to scan the QR code with Wechat or Alipay and pay online.

If you are looking for the direction to Dongzhimen, it ends at 22:59pm, if you are looking for the direction to Xizhimen, it ends at 23:30pm. If you are coming from Badaling Great Wall, you will be able to catch the line 13 for downtown. Hope this information can help you.
