Two train stations are in service in the city: Hohhot Railway Station and East Railway Station.

Hohhot Railway Station

Located on No.41 of East Chenzhan Street in Xincheng District, Hohhot Railway Station is 6.5 kilometers (4 miles) from city center, operating normal speed trains to/from Beijing, Lanzhou, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Manzhouli, Baotou, Kunming, and Tianjin, and bullet trains to/from Baotou, Jining, and Ordos.

Hohhot East Railway Station

East Railway Station, 3.8 kilometers (2 miles) from city center, is located at Nandian Village, Wantong Road in Xincheng District. This station operates normal speed trains to/from Shenzhen, Shanghai, Urumqi, Xining, Taiyuan and Beijing. Also, it has bullet trains to/from Ulanqab.

tickets Hohhot - Ulaanbaatar

I found out that the tickets for the train Hohhot — Ulaanbaatar can be bought only at the counters of the stations in Hohhot and Erenhot. Is there a travel agency which can arrange the tickets?

Train or Bus from Erlian to Ulanbaatar

Is there a connection from Erlian to Ulanbaatar?
If yes, what time?

Yes. Erlian to Ulaanbaatar trains are available, you can buy the ticket at the ticket center beside Erlian Railway Station. The train departs at 17:10 on Monday and Friday.

Train Timetable from Huh hot to Erlian hot

We want to travel from Huh hot to Erlian hot by bus. What is the timetable for this trip and its ticket cost and trip time?

The train from Hohht to Erlian departs at 8:55, 9:25, 22:06, and 22:35. It takes about 8-9 hours and costs CNY 53 / 69 for a hard seat and CNY 123 for a hard sleeper. A soft sleeper generally costs CNY 186.

Is there any high speed trains?

I want to go to Hailar, but the train takes over30 hours.

There is no high speed trains between these two cities, only two ordinary trains available. One is K998 22:22/ 05:47 +2, another is K274 23:27/ 06:06 +2. You can take the flight instead.
