Guangzhou - Yiwu Train

A total of 2 or so bullet trains run from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Yiwu Railway Station daily and 1 vice versa; the duration is nearly 7 hours. Normal trains are not available between the two cities.

Alternatively, traveling by flight will be a good choice for those who are pressed for time. It just takes about 2 hours, but it may cost a lot more than rail travel.

High Speed Trains

With a distance of 946 miles (1,522 km), the whole journey takes almost 7 hours or so. All of the high speed trains originate/end in Guangzhou, and Yiwu is just an intermediate stop with a 2 or 3 minutes' stopover. So you should pack your luggage in advance and listen to the broadcast notices carefully to make sure that you detrain or board in time.

There is no need to have the paper ticket. After booking with your passport, you can get onboard just by verying with your passport. It's quite easy and trouble-save.
