How to Get from Beijing South Railway Station to Capital Airport
The distance from Beijing South Railway Station to Capital Airport (PEK) is around 40 kilometers (25 miles). There is the shuttle bus Beijing South Railway Station Line running between. Passengers can also take the subway to Dongzhimen and then transfer to Capital Airport Express Train to PEK. Both travel ways need about 75 minutes and cost CNY30.

The shuttle bus runs directly and every passenger is ensured a seat for a comfortable ride. But the departure interval is a little long and there is a possibility of traffic jams on the way.

2. Subway Line 4 + Subway Line 2 + Airport Express Train: 75 minutes, CNY 30
→ Walk to the subway entrance on -1F of Beijing South Railway Station. There are bilingual direction signs leading you there.
→ Take subway line 4 to Xuanwumen, 3 stops.
→ Change to line 2 outer ring to Dongzhimen, 8 stops.
→ Transfer to airport express train to T3 or T2 of Capital Airport. The airport express train has no stop at T1.
Both subway and airport express train meet no traffic jams and you can rely on them. However, passengers need to carry their luggage up and down the cabin. Also, the cabins can be quite crowded in rush hours.

3. Subway Line 14 + Line 5 + Airport Express Train: 70 minutes, CNY 29
→ Take subway line 14 east section to Puhuangyu, 3 stops.
→ Transfer to line 5 to Beixinqiao, 8 stops.
→ Change to airport express train to T3.

4. Taxi: Around 80 minutes, about CNY 130
Taxi offers a more private and comfortable travel experience but it costs more. However, it usually requires passengers to queue in line for around 30 minutes to hail one. Traffic congestion is also a possibility.

1. Subway Line 4 + Line 10 + Beijing New Airport Line: Around 50 minutes, CNY 38
→ Transfer to subway line 10 inner ring to Caoqiao, 1 stop.
→ Change to subway Beijing New Airport Line to the airport, 2 stops.
2. Subway Line 14 + Daxing Airport Shuttle Bus: Around 1 hour 15 minutes, CNY 38
→ Take subway line 14 east section to Puhuangyu, 3 stops.
→ Leave from Exit E and walk northward to take airport shuttle bus Beijing Railway Station Line from Puhuangyu to Daxing Airport, 3 stops
The airport shuttle bus operates from 04:00 to 20:15 with an interval of about 30 minutes.
3. Taxi: Around 60 minutes, CNY 150

0ReplyThere is porter service at Beijing South Station, however, you may not able to book it online in advance. You can find them around the extrances and in waiting hall. Usually the price is around CNY20 per piece or CNY100 per car (allow a max of 8 pieces). Hope this information can help you.
Reply00ReplySecond, you can use metro service. You can take Airport Express Line from airport to Sanyuanqiao and then change to line 10 to Shuangjing, finally change to line 7 and get out from Zhushikou, gate A. The address is about 500m away.
