Besides, tourists also can live with local families for a few days to enjoy a pleasant life. Also, going skiing in International Ski Resort is a nice choice.

Taking a hot spring bath in Shuimogou Park is pleasant in freezing winter. There visitors also can appreciate the beautiful scenery in Qingquan Hill, Hongqiao Hill, Hot Spring Hill, Shuita Hill, Xuelian Hill and Shuimo River and play golf in Xuelian Hill Golf Club. Qingquan Temple, the largest Buddhist holy land in Xinjiang, is also an attraction in the scenic spot.

The altitude of the Kanas Nature Reserve is high, so you should beware of altitude sickness. You need to apply for a frontier pass when visiting Baihama Village inside this scenic area. In order to protect yourself from the cold climate, you can apply some heating pads on your body during outdoor activities. Minorities in the city do not eat pork and the word ‘pig’ is a taboo.
