Xinnanmen Bus Station - Chengdu Tourism Bus Center

Xinnanmen Bus Station, also plays the role as Chengdu Tourism Bus Center, is located on No.57, Linjiang Road in Wuhou District. It is about 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) from the city center (Tianfu Square), 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) from Chengdu Railway Station, and 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) from Shuangliu International Airport. 

It is a coach station that mainly operates long-distance buses to attraction sites or cities with popular scenic spots nearby Chengdu, including Leshan Giant Buddha, Jiuzhaigou Valley, and Bifeng Gorge Base of China Panda Protection and Research Center. In addition, Chadianzi Bus Station on No.29, Fifth Section, West Third Ring Road of Jinniu District plays a role as its branch, which also operates buses to attraction spots, including  Jiuzhaigou Valley, Four Maiden's Mountain and Songpan (famous for Songpan Ancient Town).

Waiting Hall

Tickets are available 5 days prior to departure on normal days and 10 days prior during holidays like National Day holiday and Spring Festival. Passengers can get them upon arrival at the stations.
 Ticket Change & Refund
Over 2 hours ahead of departure: a service fee of 10% of the original ticket fare 
Less than 2 hours ahead of departure:  a service fee of 20% of the original ticket fare
Less than one hour after departure: a service fee of 50% of the original ticket fare
Over one hour after departure: not refundable
 

The building of the Xinnanmen Station is not big. All facilities, including ticket windows, security check, waiting hall and boarding gates are on the first floor. Upon entering it, passengers can find ticket windows to the left hand and security check and waiting hall right in front. Inside the waiting hall, there are toilets, hot drinking water, and stands selling snacks for passengers’ convenience.
 

 By Subway: Take metro line 1 to Huaxiba, get out from Exit A/C and then walk about 800 meters (875 yards) to reach there; Or take metro line 3 and get off at Xinnanmen, which is within walking distance to the bus station.
 By City Bus: Bus no. 6, 21, 28, 49, 55, 62, 76, 141, 237, G51, G52, Night Line 9 to Xinnanmen and walk northward to find the bus station.
 By Taxi: It takes about 20 minutes and CNY 25 to get here from Chengdu Railway Station, 30 minutes and CNY 60 from Shuangliu Airport, and 6 minutes and CNY 15 from Tianfu Square.
  From Chengdu Railway Station: Take metro line 7 to Sima Bridge, then transfer to line 3 to Xinnanmen and take Exit C.
 From East Railway Station: Take metro line 2 to Chunxi Road, then transfer to line 3 to Xinnanmen.
 From Shuangliu International Airport: Take metro line 10 to Taipingyuan, and then transfer to line 3 to Xinnanmen.
