Shanghai metro Line 6 is a north-south transportation trunk in Pudong New Area with a full length of 33.5 kilometers (20.8 miles) and 28 stations. This subway line passes Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Yuanshen Stadium, Century Avenue, Children's Medical Center and the Oriental Sports Center, greatly facilitating the residents in Pudong. The whole single trip takes about 65 minutes.

How I can go from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Dongfang Road?

Dear, you can first take the airport line 5 at T2 and get off at Longyang Road metro station. Then take the Bus 989 and get off at Dongfang Road Lancun Road. The whole ride requires about 1 hours and costs about CNY18.

Advise on staying Shanghai & Hangzhou - Option 1 or 2

Option 1 - Arrive at Pudong Airport, stay one night at SH and travel to Hangzhou, stay for 2 nights and back to SH for another night before fly back to Singapore.

Option 2 - Arrive at Pudong Airport, travel all the way to Hangzhou, stay for 2 nights then travel to SH for another 2 nights before fly back to Singapore.

Which option is more viable ? Thanks

You are advised to take option 2. You can head for Hangzhou directly from PVG, and enjoy your trip in Hangzhou. Afterwards, you may come back to SH to have a continuous trip in the city.

I will arrive at Shanghai Pudong airport at 1325h.

May i know what is the fastest mode of transport to Hangzhou west lake?
Please recommend a 4 stars hotel near west lake. We are staying there for 2 nights.
After that we will travel back to area near the Bund, what will be the fastest transport we should take ?
Please recommend a 4 stars hotel near the Bund. We are staying there for 2 night before we take flight back home next morning.

1. Well, you may take the airport shuttle bus line 1 to Hongqiao Railway Station first. Upon arrival, you can catch a high speed train to Hangzhou East Railway Station. Then you may take bus no.108 at East Railway Station East Bus Stop to Qianwangci Bus Station. Upon arrival, West Lake Scenic Area is only 100 meter away from you. The whole trip will take around 3 hours.
Hangzhou JInxi Hotel located at no.39, Yanggongdi is a 4-star hotel, which is only about 500 meters to West Lake Scenic Spot.
2. As the route back to the Bund, you can walk 600 meters from the West Lake to Longxiangqiao Metro Station and take metro line 1 to East Railway Station. Then you can catch a high speed train back to Hongqiao Railway Station. Later, you can take metro line 2 or metro line 10 to East Nanjing Road Station, Exit 3. Upon arrival, you can walk to the Bund on yourself.
As I know, the hotels there mostly rank 5-star. The Westin Bund Center, Waldorf Astoria, Pudong Shangri-La are all located near the bund.

Is there a "Water Taxi" or boat that travels the Huangpu River -- either for tourism or commute? Private or public? Does it stop at Expo Center?

There are Cruise ships that travel the Huangpu River. Ship departs from the Bund (Zhongshan Road), sail to Huangpu Bridge in the south, turn and head north towards Wusongkou, and return to the Bund. It won't stop at Expo Center. You can go to Dongchang Rd to take ferry traveling Huangpu River to the Expo site.
