Nowadays, Wuhan metro line 1, line 2, line 3, line 4, line 6, line 7, line 8, line 11 and Yangluo Line (line 21) have been in service, measuring about 288 kilometers (178 miles) and including 199 stations. Besides, metro line 5 and line 27 will operate in the near future. By 2021, the rail transit line will reach 400 kilometers (250 miles) in the city. Wuhan subway is scheduled to have 32 lines with a length of 1,200 kilometers (746 miles) by the end of 2049, which accounts for over 55% of the city's public transportation.

Line 1: Jinghe – Hankou North (West – East)
Full length: 38 kilometers (24 miles)
Route: Jinghe - Sandian - Matoutan Park - Dongwu Avenue - Wuhuan Avenue - Etouwan - Zhuyehai - Duoluokou - Gutian 1st Road - Gutian 2nd Road - Gutian 3rd Road - Gutian 4th Road - Hanxi 1st Road - Zongguan - Taipingyang - Qiaokou Road - Chongren Road - North Liji Road - Youyi Road - Xunlimen - Dazhi Road - Sanyang Road - Huangpu Road - Toudao Street - Erqi Road - Xuzhou New Village - Danshuichi - Xinrong - Dijiao - Tengzigang - Shekou New City - Hankou North

Line 2: Tianhe International Airport - Optics Valley Square (Northwest – Southeast)
Full length: 48 kilometers (30 miles)

Ticket Fare

The charge varies from the distance: CNY2 for the first 9 kilometers (6 miles); CNY3 for 9-14 kilometers (6-9 miles); extra CNY1 for every additional 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) if distance over 14 kilometers (9 miles).

How to get public transport card and is there any map app that i can turn it to english?

You can buy one at the service center of metro stations or on the machines. If you have ApliPay, you can search for the mini program Didi on it for directions.

Do you know recommended hotel near Wuhan airport? And how to reach the hotel from Wuhan Railway station by metro. Please advise how to buy ticket metro. Thank you

The Starway hotel at T3 is recommended, which is only 370m from the Exit B of the Airport Metro Station. From Railway Station, you can take Metro Line 5 to Jiyuqiao Station first and then transfer to Metro Line 2 to the airport.

You can take Metro Line 3 from the railway station to Zhongnan Rd. and then transfer to Metro Line 2 to Huazhong University of Sci.&Tech. Station. Get off the Exit A2 and walk south about 700m to take Tram L3 to your destination.

Where can return a wuhan metro card ?

You can only return the card at several places, like service center in Jianghan Road, No.822 of Jinghan Avenue, etc. Or you can provide your living place. Then I can find the nearby service counter.
