Wuhan Metro Line 4

Crossing the Yangtze River, Wuhan metro line 4 runs through the Hanyang, Wuchang, Hongshan and Qingshan Districts. It was put into use in late 2013 and passes the busiest commercial zones of Wuchang, Tourism Distributing Center, and Donghu New Town Development Zone. The operating route, linking Huangjingkou in the west and Wuhan Railway Station in the east, covers 28 stations, with Wuchang and Hanyang Railway Stations included.

Line 4 is regarded as a tourist metro in the city: Chu River Han Street (Chuhe Hanjie) and Hongshan Square stations are named after the attractions; Shouyi Square, Yangtze River Bridge, Shahu Park, Guiyuan Buddhist Temple, Heptachord Terrace, Yuehu Park, East Lake Scenic Area, and Yellow Crane Tower are within walking distance to subway stations of this line.
