Jishou Railway Station

Located in the north of downtown Jishou, Jishou Railway Station is about 50 kilometers (30 miles) from Fenghuang Ancient Town, about 11 kilometers (7 miles) from Qianzhou Ancient Town. It mainly operates trains to/from Changsha, Zhangjiajie, Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Huaihua, Guiyang, Yichang, Shaoyang, etc.

150 meters (165 yards) away from Jishou Train Station is Jishou North General Bus Station which operates coaches to nearby cities and tourism attractions including Fenghuang Ancient Town.

Passengers can take any of the following busses to Jishou Train Station: No.1, 3, Jishou Line 6, Jishou Railway Station – Aizhai Town Line.
 

STEP 1: Jishou Railway Station → Jishou North General Bus Station
Walk northward after walking out of the railway station. It takes 2 minutes on foot.

STEP 2: Jishou North General Bus Station → Fenghuang General Bus Station
Passengers can take a coach and the ticket fare is CNY25 for each person. Boarding is valid before 17:30. The trip may take about 80 minutes.

STEP 3: Fenghuang General Bus Station → Fenghuang Ancient Town
Take Fenghuang Bus Line 1 and get off at The Agricultural Bank of China bus stop, then walk southward and turn left at the first crossroad. Passengers will walk for about 700 meters (765 yards) and it takes about 10 minutes in total.
 

1.    Take bus No.1 at Jishou Railway Station and get off at Ancient Town bus stop, it costs CNY2 and needs 40 minutes.
2.    Take a taxi at cost of about CNY25 for about 25 minutes.
