The last ride of line 3 at North Station should be at 11pm. As long as you can be there before that, it is no problem to reach Wusi Square before 11:33pm.

To cancel a booked ticket from HK to Zhengzhou.
I already booked a ticket from HK to Zhengzhou for me and my friend. However, our travel plan changed so I would need to cancel the booked ticket. I found that I need to go to West Kowloon Station to cancel them, but I do not have my friend's passport now. Do you think it is possible to cancel the ticket by using a photo of the passport at station? Thank you for your kind advance.

Thank you for your inquiry.
To cancel the tickets, you would need to collect the tickets first so it means you would need to have passport of the passengers. However, the station will take special case into consideration sometimes. If you have your passport and a photo of the other passenger, it may accepted. You can have a try at the station counter. Wish you a good luck!

Is there any recommended hotel near Zhengzhou East Station?
Or it is better to stay near a bus station? Before I head to Qingdao from HK, I want to visit Shaolin temple.

You can consider the Greenland Innside Hotel which is in walking distance from the station. As I know, it seems the bus to Shaolin temple goes from a bus station near Zhengzhou Station.
If you want to take an early train from East Station to Qingdao, the hotel would be better near the East station. If you want a bus in early morning to Shaolin temple, it would be better to stay near the bus station. Anyway, it is not hard to transfer between. There is a metro line 1 connected bus station and east station which takes around 40mins.
