Yes, some fast food, Chinese fast food, noodles can be found. There are also some small shops. I suppose there should be meal for sale on the train too since it is a long term trip.

If still go by rail, you can consider HK-Hangzhou-Ningbo, it may take around 9 hours for the whole trip. However, the ticket price is much higher in this way. So I do not think it is a good option considering it is not a big duration difference. Or you just consider about the direct flight. Some times there may be discount ticket offered for flight.

Can I collect the Shenzhen to Ningbo train ticket in HK as well?
Or I need to pick them up in Shenzhen? If I need to do it in Shenzhen, how long would it take? In case I failed to make it, what should I do?

Thank you for your inquiry.
You can also collect the paper ticket for the trip from Shenzhen to Ningbo in HK from the ticket counter No. 1 to 5. There will be extra service fee HKD30 per ticket charged by the counter. Hope for your kind notice. If you pick the paper ticket in Shenzhen, it would be better to prepare about 1.5 hours between. If you failed to catch the train, you can hold the paper ticket and ask the counter to change you to other later rides on the same day. If there are still free seats for sale, you can make the changes successfully. Hope this can help you.
