5 Days Private Photography Tour to Dongchuan Red Land

Upon arrival, our guide and driver will pick you up at the Kunming Airport, and then provide you with a comfortable ride to a downtown hotel. After check-in, you will be accompanied on a visit to the Green Lake Park to get a first impression of the city.

Today, you will have a morning tour to the famous Stone Forest. Our guide will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast and then escort you there. Hundreds of millions of years of erosions have sculpted rocks in the Stone Forest into a variety of shapes. Let your imagination fly. You are able to find pinnacles resembling elephant, lion, lotus, rhinoceros and even figures in folk legends, under the guidance of our guide.

In the afernoon, continue our Kunming to Donchuan Red Land tour to Jiuxiang Scenic Area, which is known as the museum of karst caves, to see a large number of strangely-shaped stalactites. Get out of the caves and we will head back to the hotel in Kunming.

Today's Kunming photography tour will lead you to Dongchuan Red Land, which is the paradise for shutterbugs. We will arrive there by a 3 hours' drive. Dongchuan Red Land is nicknamed as a natural color palette as each piece of land presents different bright colors under sunlight, like red, orange, jade green, and scarlet. With the company of our guide, you will take pictures of marvelous scenes from different angles at Qicaipo, Luoxiagou, Laolongshu, Yuepu'ao, Luoshiwan, and Waliangfang.

At night, the guide will lead you to check in at the Shanju Hotel in Dongchuan.

If weather permits, you are able to take in the brilliant sunrise over the colorful land at Damakan early in the morning. Then our guide will accompany you to wander around the fields and immerse in beautiful vista at Jinxiuyuan.

Before heading for the airport, our guide will escort you to have more fun at the Dragon Gate in Western Hills. There you are able to take in the full view of the boundless Dianchi Lake as well as the Kunming City. Then a private ride will take you to the airport for your departure flight.
