Today, you can go to the airport either in Sydney or Melbourne on your own and then take a flight for Kathmandu. If you depart from Sydney, EK417 1605/0015 and EK2355 0220/0830 operated by Emirates Airlines are recommended. You will have a layover of about 2 hours in Dubai and the total journey takes nearly 21 hours. If departing from Melbourne, you can take flight EK409 0515/1310 to Dubai first. This morning, we will first visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, where a great many palaces, temples, stupas, and sculptures of the Malla Dynasty from the 14th to 15th century gather. Besides, we will explore the painting school, Pottery Square, Dattatraya Square and Peacock Window nearby. The wonderful arts will leave us a very deep impression. Later we will drive to Nagarkot, about 32 kilometers (20 miles) from Kathmandu. As the village is situated on a ridge that is opposite to the Himalayas, it provides a perfect angle to appreciate the Himalayas. After arrival, our guide will help you check in at the hotel.

Located to the northwest of Pokhara, Sarangkot is an ideal place to watch the sun rise over the central and western Himalayas.
