Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
On landing at Beijing Capital Airport, after reclaiming your luggage and clearing customs, your anticipated China tour starts with a warm welcome by a TravelChinaGuide guide. We will transfer you to the hotel and help you check in for a three-night stay. The rest of the day remains free for you to get over the jet lag and prepare for the following two full days Beijing group tour.

Before the escorted Beijing group tour package starts, you will meet the other members of your group in the hotel lobby and your guide will give a brief introduction to your Beijing trip. The first stop today is the impressive Tiananmen Square, the heart of the city. On and around the square, you can see the People's Heroes monument, the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall. Following the guide, you will enter the imperial Forbidden City, the largest ancient palace complex in the world. Home to 24 emperors, the palace with its fascinating halls and pavilions tell the history of the royal court over 600 years.
After the morning excursions, you will enjoy an a la carte welcome lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a famous local restaurant. The golden brown and crisp Peking duck on the menu is a must-try. Then off to the Temple of Heaven, a place where emperors worshipped heaven for good harvests. Following the visit, an exciting Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater is scheduled.

Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, we will drive you to the Mutianyu Great Wall in about 2.5 hours. The round trip cable car is arranged to save your time and strength to walk on the wall. Comfortable shoes and a trekking pole will also be helpful for you to trek on the Great Wall. As you stand on the wall and see its grandness, you will find it is no wonder that the Great Wall has the vigor to surprise the whole world. You will marvel at the hardship and greatness of the ancient people who built the wall. To celebrate and commemorate this moment, we especially prepare some red wine for a group toast on the Great Wall.
We do not arrange lunch today as restaurants around the tourist sites cannot meet our standard. You should have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch. Our guide can suggest a restaurant in this area.
Then we will drive you back to the city. Today's Beijing group tour is concluded after you spend some free time at a featured local market.

Day 4 Departure from Beijing
After your Beijing group tour, today you may travel back home or for an onward trip. Please check out of the hotel before noon and hail a taxi to the airport on your own. We kindly suggest you arrive at the airport 2.5 to 3 hours ahead of your flight schedule, especially for an international flight. If you have extended travel plan, we are at your service anytime. We wish you a smooth journey.

Our driver Mr Bai was excellent - he was always very polite and courteous, he tried to communicate with us despite not speaking English and was very attentive to our needs.
