Cash is acceptable and it costs CNY100-120 for a single journey.

Is there a train from Shenyang airport to Shenyang University?

There is no direct transportation way to this university. You can take shuttle bus line of Longzhimeng to Nanta station, then transfer to bus 113 to West Gate of Shenyang University. It takes around 2 hours with CNY19.

Taoxian International Airport to Imperial Palace Museum

We will arrive at SHE around 6am and have a 15hrs layover. What mode of transportation do you recommend to take from Airport to Imperial Palace and back?

You can take shuttle bus line of Longzhimeng to Lujun Zongyuan station, then take bus 132 to Palace Donghua gate station, and walk northwest around 550m to your destination. If you return back, you can take metro line 1 from Zhongjie station to Bangjiangjie station, then walk west around 300m to Longzhimeng Coach station to take shuttle bus to the airport.

We arrive late at SHE and want to go by taxi to Dandong. How much is the fare?

The distance is around 240km so it is impossible to take taxi going there, not to mention in the late night. It is suggested to stay one night in Shenyang and take high speed train to Dandong the next morning.
