With a distance of about 44.87 km (28mi), the north-south Nanjing Metro Line 3 extends from Linchang Station in Pukou District to East Mozhou Road Station in Jiangning District. Crossing the Yangtze River, it is a bridge between the northern and southern regions along the river, and also connects critical transportation hubs, including Long Distance Bus Station, Railway Station and South Railway Station. Along Nanjing Metro Line 3 there is a series of important tourist attractions, such as the Confucius Temple, Xuanwu Lake and the Presidential Palace.
