Tips for Taking the Yuehai Train
As the train of the Yuehai Railway uniquely passes by ferry through Qiongzhou Strait, between Guangdong and Hainan, a number of rules have been set to guarantee the safety of passengers.
1. Before departure, passengers should remain in their railway carriages and pay special attention to their children’s needs.
2. Make sure that the windows remain closed during the crossing. Passengers staying on the middle and upper berths should sit on the lower berth.
3. While the ferry is crossing the strait (about one hour’s journey in all), passengers are not allowed to wander at will in the carriage or leave the carriage to linger on board.
