Hello, It was great that we could book the train journey in advance and the tickets arrived at the time and place we had arranged so that was great. The train journey we took with you was from xian to beijing on a soft sleeper which was lovely and would recommend again, nice toilets, clean, plenty of space, soft beds etc We had previously we took a train journey that we had booked ourselves at the train station from shanghai to Guangzhou on a seat only basis for 19 hours which was quite awful! The seats were small and cramped, people standing around you the whole time, no leg room, people sleeping all over the floor, toilets were bad and got progressively worse throughout the journey (as you can imagine) etc The station in Xian is quite run down and busy, there is not enough room for everybody in the waiting room. Thank you for making our transfer on the train to Tianjin so very easy. The tickets were at the hotel for pick up as promised and the trip went to schedule. The only hitch was the language barrier at the other end getting to the cruise terminal. But we over came that problem with a picture of our ship which we showed to the taxi driver. I will recommend your service to any one else who travels to Beijing and forwarding on to to a cruise ship. Thank you and well done

Dear Joyce and Daisy, I rate my booking experience through TCG booking center 9 over 10. When we first made the reservation at your website there was a little bit of confusion on our side if it had been sent correctly and, if I remember correctly, I had to contact you again. For the rest everything went smoothly and was very efficient from your side. So my suggestion would be enhancing the website interaction and information the user gets about his reservation requests. It was a satisfactory experience. Very professional train services in China, over the top station in Beijing. The only complaint I have is at a ticket office in Shanghai, only one person could speak English and she was not very kind to us. As I said previously, we were gladly impressed by the modern station at Beijing (south if I remember correctly). Often crowded waiting rooms. Little facilities for eating something while waiting in Jinan. Thanks for your attention once again and wish you the best for 2011! Narcís Calvet

Booking experience through TCG booking center was great. Easy process with lots of email confirmations to keep the client up to date. The train was great. Fast and on time with good views of the country side We were unsure if we could put our tickets through the scanners in the waiting room or not. The White and orange ones it looks like you have to get them punched, while the blue/green ones you can scan. This is really the only thing we weren't sure about.

I think traveling by train in China could be a challenge for foreigners who are not used to the hectic environment on the stations. You must be prepared for a busy and confusing station! Dear Joyce and Daisy, Thanks for your email. China experience was very nice, it was a trip that I would recommend to other travelers, especially moving around by train, which is very convenient, fast and a way to be in contact with Chinese people and enjoy the culture. Out story: we were a little bit concern at the platform, when we were waiting for the train to go from Pingyao to Xi'an, because we have been told that a deliveryman would be waiting for us at the platform to provide us with our tickets before the train arrived. However, this man never showed up and we were very late at night, at Pingyao platform, thinking that we would not be able to get into the train and travel to Xi'an that night!! However, just by showing a printed copy of the tickets, the conductor let us get in and, at the end of the journey; we found out that she had the original tickets!! We never knew how she got them... we guessed that the deliveryman gave her the tickets ... China was fantastic, a place to discover and visit and also attractive for a European to live for a while! The most difficult thing.... Chinese... very difficult language for us to learn!! Thanks and regards Natalia Gancedo

Booking experience through TCG booking center: very good, the tickets where at the hotel as we agreed. - According to 4 taxi's it was very difficult to get to the station in Xian. The 5th taxi took us there without any problems? We still don't know the difficult part! The Area in front of the station looked like a very crowded marked place full of people. Finding our way in, was the next challenge. Because we could not read the signs, we showed our ticket to someone in uniform. He pointed to a special lane, which we took. Once inside the building, it looked the same as outside, crowded and full with people. I happened to see our train number at a waiting area. I showed our ticket again and we where taken to a special waiting area. So within 10 minutes after we arrived at the station, we already found the right waiting area for our train to Beijing. Without any problems we boarded our train to Beijing. We had a good trip to Beijing, although the overall facilities where very dirty. We had a soft sleeper and booked the extra bed, so we could store our luggage.
