Huashan Train Schedule & Stations

Two passenger railway stations are in operation near Mt. Huashan.

Huashan Railway Station operates ordinary trains to major domestic cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi'an, Pingyao, Taiyuan, Datong, Lanzhou, and Urumqi.

North Railway Station serves as an important high speed railway station along Zhengzhou - Xi'an High Speed Rail Line. The station mainly operates bullet trains to Luoyang, Xi'an, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, and Baoji.

Huashan Station

Address: Mengyuan Town, Huayin City

The station is about 4 miles (6 km) from Mt. Huashan. One can easily get there by a public minibus at CNY 3 in 20 minutes, or by a taxi at about CNY 20 in 15 minutes. Left luggage service is provided at the station, so passengers can store their luggage and climb the mountain light; the service fee is CNY 5 per baggage per day.

Address: To the north of Huayin City, close to North of Huayue Road.

North Railway Station is about 3 miles (5 km) from Mt. Huashan. There is a left luggage office, next to the ticket office. It usually charges CNY5 for a piece of baggage per day.

 How to get to Mt. Huashan from North Station:
1. Passengers can take sightseeing bus no. 1 or 2 to the tourism center at the foot of Mt. Huashan. The buses are green and it is free of charge.
2. Tourist Special Bus Line is available at the front square. Passengers can take it to tourism center. Ticket fare is CNY10 per person.
3. If you go there by taxi, duration is 15 minutes or so and it costs about CNY20.

North Station

 The trains to Huashan Railway Station are ordinary type, which cost less, but the facilities onboard are not modern and the air may be smelly. Also, the carriage may be crowded, especially hard seat carriage and the train may arrive behind schedule and influence passengers’ travel plan. A day tour from Xi'an to Mt. Huashan is possible via this station.

Passengers arriving at/departing from North Railway Station spend more for the rail trip, but it saves time and the ride is more comfortable. Compared with Huashan Train Station, more transportation tools to Mt. Huashan are available here. Besides, the station environment and relevant facilities are better. Usually, the trains are punctual no matter for arrivals and departures. A day tour from both Luoyang and Xi'an to Mt. Huashan is possible via this station.
