There is only one airport in Harbin: Taiping International Airport. This airport is one of the largest international airports in northeast China. Harbin Taiping International Airport

The airport is located in the southwest part of the city, 33 kilometers (21 miles) away from the center of the city. It has 2 terminal buildings currently. T1 mainly serves the international flightd, and T2 is the departure and terminal building for domestic flights. This airport is connecting with the downtown area by 6 shuttle bus lines, and passengers can also transport between the airport and other area of the city by taxi.

Tips on Finding Cheap Flights to Harbin

1. November to next March is the peak traveling season to Harbin, and there will be very few special offers during this period, so try to avoid flying to Harbin during the time period. If you have to fly this period, fly to neighboring cities like Dalian, Shenyang or even Beijing, and then go to Harbin by high speed train. This kind of combination may save you a lot.

Flight tickets can I use digital or e-ticket or do I need paper ticket?

I am concerned about getting the tickets in time as I need to fly out in two days from harbin china. Can we use e-tickets or do we need paper tickets? Is there a cost in having tickets delivered? How long does delivery take?

For the flight, they should be e ticket. You only need to change the boarding pass at the airport before your departure

International/domestic transfer

I arrive from Khabarovsk and going to Melbourne via Guangzhou. Do I need to switch to domestic terminal or I can just go from International Arrivals to International Departures? Travelling with China Southern Airlines. Thanks.

There is only one terminal in Guangzhou Baiyun airport.

1.How I can go Harbin Engineering University(West Gate), from airport by cheaper one ?
2.In downtown Harbin have metro train or subway?

Take shuttle Bus from the airport station to Amusement Park station. Then walk about 80 m, you can go the west gate of this university. The metro is under construction.

No direct one. You need to transfer at Beijing or Shanghai.

Many are available. And personally, those of China Eastern Airlines and southern airlines are decent. You could choose your preferred one according to the schedule and ticket price on your departure date.
