Recommendation Rate of Travel:

Khao Phansa usually falls in July, one of the grandest Buddhism festivals in Thailand. For visitors, it is a great chance to learn the traditional Buddhism culture of the country. In the morning, people would go to the temples to send food or other living items to the monks and participate in the candle procession. Then, street parades are held by various folk organizations. The climax of the festival comes at night, when people gather at temples to pray. You may go to Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and more temples to take part in the religious events. Many hotels and road-side stores provide it, and Khao San Road is a great place to go, where not only massage stores, but also restaurants and booths offering various local snacks gather.
