Jinan01 : 2 Days Jinan

In the morning, take a bus No. 41  to Daming Lake, which is one of the highlights of your city tour in Jinan. The entrance ticket costs CNY40. The best time to visit the Lake is from May to October. 
 
After visiting Daming Lake, walk to the south and you will reach the most flourishing street - Quancheng Road. You can have your lunch there. Then continue south along the Bangpeng Road until you get to Quancheng Square, where you can take a picture with the symbol of Jinan City.

Since Jinan is called the “City of Springs”, you shouldn't miss the springs there. In the afternoon, you may walk to the north of Quancheng Square. Not far away, there is the Pearl Spring, which is free of charge. You can observe the water cascading out, like a string of pearls. 
 
Take a walk around, the government office of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and the begonia garden of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) are worth visiting. Both of them are also free of charge. Arrange your accommodation in the city tonight.
 
Take bus No.K51 toThousand Buddha Mountain. The admission fee is CNY30. Climbing the hill, you will have a bird's-view of the wholeJinan City. Do not forget to visit theWanfo Cave constructed in the north side of the hill. At the northern foot of the mountain, Shandong Provincial Museum is the last destination of your Jinan city tour. You will learn more about nature and history of Shandong Province.

Yantai01 : 4 Days Yantai - Kunyu Mountain National Forest Park - Yantai - Penglai -Changdao Island

Take bus No. 23 to the famousJinsha Beach. Covered with constant silver sand, it is a wonderful place for sunbath and swim. After lunch, take a bus toKunyu Mountain at 15:15. Please note that there are only two buses leaving forKunyu Mountain every day. The other one sets out at 9:15 in the morning. After about one hour's drive, you will reach the Kunyu Mountain National Forest Park. Stay overnight there.

Continue your trekking in the mountain. Transfer back to Yantai after lunch. The bus No.58 would take you toYuhuangding Park which is located in a hill. Climb up and you will appreciate the high-rise lofts and the green and luxuriant trees. It is also called “Minor fairyland”. Spend a night inYantai City.
 
Take a coach at the inter-city bus station to Penglai - the well-known fairyland in Chinese legend. The coach departs every 15 minutes and the ticket costs you CNY18. It takes you about 1 hour and a half on the way. Penglai Pavilion, one of the four famous pavilions in China, is one of the highlights today. Admission fee is about CNY70. If you are lucky, you may have a chance to observe mirage. The ticket of Statue of the Eight Immortals charges CNY40. You will know some interesting legends about these eight immortals. As long as you love animals, Penglai Oceanic Polar World can be added to your itinerary. The entrance ticket charges CNY120. In the afternoon, take a boat toChangdao Island. The boat departs at half an hour interval and the last one often shoves off at 17:30. It costs you CNY24 and half an hour to 40 minutes on the boat. Watch the splendid sunset and stay overnight on the island.

In the morning, visit Jiuzhang Cliff andMoon Bay. After lunch, return to Penglai by boat and transfer back to Yantai.
