Itinerary : 2 Days of Guangzhou - Conghua (Liuxi River Forest Park) - Hotspring Town - Lutian - Guangzhou

You are advised to take some bread and water with you. It can provide you with some energy on occasion. Considering the limited time and long distance, you are advised to take the bus heading to Conghua city from the Guangzhou Passenger station next to the Guangzhou railway station. (The bus station is located just 200 meters west of the railway station). In the station, you can take the No. 601 bus toward Conghua city with a bus fare of 18.00 yuan per person, or you can take the special traveling line. The whole trip is around 78 kilometers and lasts less than two hours. You will arrive at Conghua Jiekou Passenger station. Then you can follow the road signs to start your bicycle trip. You will ride along the Guangcong highroad. The view is delightful and will make for a relaxed tour.

After a 20-kilometer journey, you can have a stopover for a meal and water, and then ride directly toward the Liuxi River Forest Park. The entrance fare of this park is 30.00 yuan per person if you pay on the spot, or you can get it for 25.00 yuan through the online reservation system. There are many shows in the park, such as a dancing and singing performance by the Yao minority. There is also an interesting arboretum and romantic boating on the Liuxi river. The best time for you to visit the park is from March to December and it is better for travelers to avoid the summer. Please be advised that you should dress in a long-sleeved shirt and trousers to avoid the cold and mosquitoes. After strolling aound the park for two and a half hours, it is time for you go on to your next destination - the spring town (Wen Quanzhen). You can overnight in the Guangzhou Guesthouse. The second day, walking into the forest park in the morning, you can feel the cool, fresh air. Ride along No. 105 road to continue your journey. The views change as you descend, and you will reach a lake which is just like jade. You will notice the wonderful scenery, but you will find the going rough on this road. But, "No pain, no gain". Your hard work will win you fascinating views along the road. After traveling 64 kilometers, you will arrive at Lvtian town at last. Have a break, and then go to the Cygnet restaurant (Xiao Tian E) to have meal. Finally, you are advised to take the regular bus back to Guangzhou. The bus operates from 06:00 ~ 20:00 every day and it is easily accessible every 15 minutes. Your trip ends.
